Hopefully it's not something more messed up and it's just going in to thermal protection/overload/whatever you wanna call it. I suspect I found the reason as to my black-screens, hopefully. I opened my 5700 XT (it's warranty/RMA is over anyway), and found out: It has pretty much no thermal compound on the core, so I'm using my old GTX 1060 until I get the thermal compound for that XT. I load a world in SE, I have to hard reset my PC because it absolutely will not do anything after the black screen. Black screen happens sometimes when doing basic stuff (coding in visual studio), or while watching a video (e.g. Launch the game and see if you still get blank screens ( the launch option over rides the intro movie taking you directly to the game screen ). In the pop up that follows add -skipintro ( exactly as it appears including the - and without spaces ) In the general tab of the pop up window you will see a Set Launch Options button, click it Right click space engineers in your game list and goto properties Nope i don't joke, i would ask are you getting the black screens on the KSH intro video as i've noticed in my time on here some systems ( regardless of what specs they are ) have trouble getting past the intro "movie" and can resolve that by using a launch option. I get black-screens and more when using that driver compared to the old 19.9.2 driver. Windows Version: Windows 10 ( 64 Bit ) You are joking, right? Windows Version - Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) I won't upgrade drivers till I see more "it works" and less "it doesn't work". The game runs flawlessly for me, although it does hiccup as I move -away- from my base occasionally in single player, I'm assuming that's the cleanup trying to do it's thing. Might be interesting to know what hardware ya'll are running, could mean the difference.
